If you are already drawing and making art or if you are just curious this class is for you!  We will explore the basic elements of drawing through design, composition, line, texture and color.  This class will give you new ways of approaching drawings as finished works or as ideas for paintings. Strong composition is the foundation of this class along with line, contour, intuitive and memory drawing.  This is an excellent introduction to explore the power and magic of drawing.  For those with more experience this class will give you new perspectives on your current work.   It will be like a creative meditation resulting in new and exciting ways of approaching your own distinct style.

The goal is to learn more about dynamic drawing techniques and to have fun. An empty sketch book with exercises and assignments will be completed as it evolves from the simple to the complex.
