Join me this June and July as we combine the wonderful world of mermaids with the wonderful world of acrylic paint markers!

Let’s dive through a step-by-step process of how I paint mermaids on canvas and share some laughs along the way 🙂 At the end of this class you will take home the skills needed to paint mermaids for any occasion along with a fabulously 50’s inspired mermaid painting of your very own. If you love fun, kitschy art and the affordable ease of acrylic paint markers – this is the class for you!

Faber-Castell polychromos colored pencil (White 9201-101***)
Pink cap eraser
Ruler
2.25 inch Foam Roller with Handle
1 inch foam paint brush

Ryan Perrigo

Instructor Bio: 
Ryan Perrigo is an illustrator and fashion designer formerly based in Los Angeles, California.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts majoring in fashion design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (2015). He has experience as a production stylist for various artists like Sia, Brandy, and Becky G and his work includes designing and constructing clothing for stage, film, and television (including work featured on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ and ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’).

His fashion illustrations have been featured in the Brazilian fashion design textbook ‘Inventando Moda’ and he has worked as a storyboard artist and film editor for various award winning production companies. He’s currently inspired by vintage, kitsch, and lowbrow art.

Erik Estrada once said he had “beautiful eyes” while he was being walked out of a disastrous job interview, but now he is just happy to be back home in Edgewater, Florida working with local artists and living close to his beloved grandmother.
