Patrick Rausch
Patrick was born in West Palm Beach, Florida when it still had a small town flavor surrounded by tropical and ocean settings. Numerous visits since childhood to the Florida Keys and years of diving and sailing the Florida coast and Bahamas along with having a home in the Ocala National Forest have had a strong and lasting influence on the subjects he chooses to paint.
From beautiful cloud formations at sunset, to a quaint cottage in the Keys, to tranquil back country landscapes, to soothing seascapes, he captures a feeling that relates to the beauty around us which is often missed in the fast paced world we live in.
His art journey began in childhood with an irresistible desire to draw. This was followed by color pencil work which eventually led to oil paints. The use of a limited palette of six colors helps create more unity within his paintings. By painting subjects he is familiar with and that strike an inner emotion , he feels he can be more honest with his work.
Patrick has been sharing with others what others have shared with him and teaching those with desire to paint for over 10 years. He currently lives in New Smyrna Beach and teaches classes at The Artist Workshop.

Ongoing contact Instructor for start dates
Studio location: B
with Graphite and Color Pencil.
Meet your instructor
Bob Stinziano
I have been drawing all my life. I spent some time painting with an airbrush, but returned to pencil. I find pencil art is the purest form of art. Working with pencil allows me better control than any kind of brush.
After retiring and moving to Florida with my wife I started concentrating on portrait drawing, I find them most challenging. In the past few years I have added color pencil to my artwork. I work with graphite and color pencil, separately and combined.
Drawing is truly a great way to escape from day to day life. It’s easy to carry a pencil and paper with you wherever you go, so you can always be drawing.

Liv Witherow
Liv was born and raised in Norway where she met her American husband who was in the Navy and stationed at the NATO base in Norway. Liv moved to the US when her husband had orders back to the US. In Norway, Liv painted in the decorative style of Rosemaling, using oil paint on wood (old style of Norwegian decorative painting).
She was interested in art at an early age. Moving with her family several times due to husband’s military orders, art got placed in the background for several years, but she started up again when moving to Florida 26 years ago. Liv worked as a Draftsman first and then as Technical Illustrator and Technical writer for companies like Lockheed Martin and General Electrics. About 10 years ago she discovered watercolors and was hooked.
Liv has been an instructor at Artists’ Workshop Inc. for several years and has won several awards in our juried shows. She has attended workshops with several well-known watercolorists including Janet Rogers, Steve Rogers, John Salminen, Judy Betts, Sue Archer, Birgitte O’Connor and others. Her artwork can also be seen at The Hub on Canal, and at our Gallery on Canal Street.
