Price $200 includes your initial bag of clay. $225 for non-members.
Basic tools are provided or can be purchased. You may want to bring your own towel and apron. Price includes all firings and glazes.
Additional clay can be purchased for $50
Beginner wheel throwing is a scheduled class with instruction and open studio hours for practice. This class is for those who have never used the wheel or have basic skills. This course includes wedging, centering clay, throwing basic cylinder and bowl forms, trimming, finishing and glazing. Potters will receive individual attention as well. Produce and keep all of your pieces.
Katrina Scott has 5 years combined experience, has completed college level courses in wheel throwing and is a former potter at Van Briggle studio in Colorado.
