DECEMBER EXHIBIT AT THE LIBRARY

“ Spectrum – Exhibit One ” A judged show with awards. Any subject – no theme. Harry Messersmith will be the judge for this exhibit. Bring works in Friday, December 2, 9-11 a.m. Judging begins shortly after 11 a.m. so don’t be late. Fee $10. Pick up for this show is Friday, January 6, 9-11 a.m.


JANUARY 2012 “LOCAL COLOR” January 6 – February 3 Enter Friday, January 6, 9 – 11 a.m. Subject is this area. Seashore, florals, lighthouse, dunes, historical buildings, marine and beach activity, etc. and abstract all the way for local COLOR. Pick up art on February 3, 9 – 11 a.m.

FEBRUARY “THINKING CHIAROSCURO” February 3 – March 2 Enter Friday, February 3, 9 – 11 a.m. Definition Chiaroscuro: [pronounced ke ar’askoo’ro] LIGHT-DARK. Painting or drawing with strong contrasts of light and dark on your subject or in your composition. In color or black and white. Any subject. Realism to abstract. Pick up Friday, March 2.

MARCH “SPECTRUM – EXHIBIT TWO” March 2 – March 30 A judged show with awards. Your choice of subject – no theme. Fee $10. Enter Friday, March 2, 9 – 11 a.m. Pick up art Friday, March 30, 9- 11 a.m.

APRIL “WHERE ARE WE?” March 30 – April 30 Enter Friday, March 30, 9-11 a.m. LANDSCAPE all over the place – may include the figure in the environment. Abstractions, locations anywhere. Pick up MONDAY, April 30, 9-11 a.m.

MAY 1 - 26 Is our High school Students’ Exhibit at the Library.

MAY also will be our Annual Members’ Exhibit at Peabody Theater Gallery. More information coming.
