The workshop will be at the Scout Hut. You will need to bring your lunch and anything you want to drink. We will have to put up and put away every night so please pack light.

Materials List – Lynn Ferris Watercolor Workshop

PAPER: Good quality paper is essential.  I recommend Arches 140lb cold pressed

PAINT:  Bring whatever you are currently working with, however your palette should include:

Alizarin Crimson

Thalo Blue

Cadmium Yellow (light or pale)

Thalo Green (any brand other than Cottman)

Cadmium red, medium

Cobalt Blue

Ultramarine blue

Opera (optional)

BRUSHES & PALETTE:

Whatever you are currently painting with should be fine, however

I recommend at least the following:

BRUSHES: round, white sable #12 or 14 round,  white sable #3 or 4

inexpensive,  1” flat brush

small "rigger" if using masking fluid

PALETTE: John Pike or similar is best.

OTHER SUPPLIES;

A number 2 pencil, straight edge, white vinyl eraser,  tracing paper (one sheet), masking tape (optional),  paper towels,  Masking fluid (optional) .
