Who said that work needs to be "hard labor"? If you have a nice group, weeding and painting walls can be the best time of your life. Check out the photos of our recent projects that were completed under the guidance of our volunteer master Patrick Rausch. Not only can he paint and teach, but he can turn work into fun!
A couple of days later, another group of fearless volunteers painted studio C a nice neutral gray to make it appear more gallery-like. The walls now have the same neutral gray that we used in our downtown gallery (which totally transformed into an awesome space with that simple color change!) and will make the art works hanging more attractive. We are in hopes of doing more art displays in that room in the future.
Those helping with the painting were our president Joe Anglin, Alicia Oestmann, Patty Stinziano, Jo Ann Reilly, and Patrick Rausch. Looks like the squares were a breeze to paint, but those grooves! Oh my, how many were there?
Well, it looks great, and please thank the volunteers for their hard work - or even better, pay it forward and sign up for a future project coming up! Don't hide from Patrick when you see him coming with his clipboard - he needs your help. Remember, we all benefit from this, and everybody can contribute a little bit! Don't be shy.
Til next time, happy painting! Ruth
