Presenting the 2009-2010 Workshop
Schedule
|
|
|
Cynthia says, "Painting 'plein air' is an exciting
challenge, trying to capture the ever changing play of light and
shadow. Using nature as inspiration does not mean simply duplicating
the scene. Rather, my goal is to give the viewer the sense of
actually being in the beautiful landscape." |

| Application of Paint on Yupo
Carol Ann Sherman

|
|
Carol Ann Sherman has always found a fascination
with the interplay of time and color. She sees life as one major
work of art full of whimsy and lush color. the class will give the
painter a more secure grasp of how to control the application of
paint on yupo. Yupo doesn't allow paint to be absorbed into the
paper, therefore the pigment remains vivid and slippery when wet. |
